XO test #1

Here we are in the home gym / entertainment place...

Results:
Epic fail. The fatigued, 33 year old stock crossover sounds better.
The new crossover is very flat. It does have a great crossover point and smoother mids, but lacks the definition and punch at the low end and nice sparkling highs of the stock XO.
So much for outsmarting the smart guys, eh? So it's back to the drawing board. I've never used the copper foil coils before, maybe this has something to do with it.
Next step might be to emulate the stock with all new parts and see how that sounds.
